Sandbanks Beach is no doubt the finest quality beach on the South Coast of Britain. This golden sand beach has been flying the European Blue Flag for a record 20 years! Feel safe visiting Sandbanks beach with family or friends.
The water at the beach is both clean and safe, if rather cold..! There is a gradual slope in to the water making safe for little ones, with lifeguards on duty from the 1st May right through the holiday season until the 30th September.
If you're arriving to Sandbanks by car there is a large car park at Sandbanks along with on road parking. The charges made in the car parks are quite high, having said this there's the advantage of parking right next to the beach which means less distance to carry the windbreak, picnic basket and any children! :O) Be warned, that on a good day the beach and especially the car park will be very busy, so parking may be restricted.
On the promenade you will find good facilities all round, this includes toilets, showers, kiosks selling ice cream and food as well as the Seafarer Cafe which offers hot and cold meals all year round.
Just arrived? There are quite a number of kiosks selling beach goodies such as inflatables and sandcastle making equipment such as buckets and spades. Take a break from sunbathing and enjoy mini-golf, crazy-golf or the road train which cruises along the promenade.
Want to get wet? At the beach you will be spoiled for choice when it comes to water sports, including inflatables, parascending, jet ski and powerboat hire.
